In the name of the MOST HIGH. Born in 1978, native to Compton California, KUMASI is no stranger to the struggles of life in the inner city. His music is directly influenced by the trails of all oppressed people past and present. As an artist, KUMASI has determined his purpose to be a vocalist that brings light to the listener in attempt to heal blackened souls. By the example of GOD graced men from Roberto Clemente to the Messiah, Christ Jesus, Kumasi describes it to be his duty to use success in music to breed Humanitarian works. "A day that goes by and you were not able to help someone is a day wasted," says KUMASI. His musical influences are GOD's revelation of song topics and the late Sam Cooke, Jimi Hendrix and Bob Marley. KUMASI explains, the day will come when good will battle evil and evil and evil will loose. Ameen
